The first Mens Brunch was held at the Family Center Village at Angel Lake in Seatac, WA. The event was a great success and there is no doubt it will become an annual event. Men from the USA, Zambia, Tanzania and Malawi came together to discuss and collaborate ideas on Africa's capacity and potential and also on ways to support each other as men in the community.
This was a great networking opportunity for all African men in the area. Mr Fred Muyumba, Mr Nelson Lubinda, Mr Fred Simposya and others delivered inspirational and motivational speeches that sent everyone home reenergized and with refreshed minds. A portion of the funds will be dedicated to the purchase of health and wellness items for children in Zambia. AZISWA wishes to thank all who were involved in putting on another great event and for the raffle items donated by Uhuru Restaurant, John and Angela Moyo, and Nelson Lubinda.
